To all of my loving brothers & sisters of The Rock MCC we welcome you with open arms just like Jesus does! If you need someone to pray with or for you, to just have a relaxing conversation or someone with a listening ear, I am here for you. I truly believe us standing as One, we can do mighty things for our loving God. If we can give back to him the love he gives to us, we will deeply satisfy him. I truly believe in the 23rd Psalm as "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want!" That was the first Bible verse taught to me by my great Aunt Lottie Mae Shropshire! I was also taught to love Jesus with all my heart, and to serve our God with my whole heart, whole mind and whole soul!
I thank God constantly for giving us his loving Son, Jesus Christ, and giving us The Rock MCC family and our church! I love everyone in my congregation, I love my family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, students, band staff and administration. I thank God for all of the wonderful gifts He has given. I will get to worship in a ministry that God gave me 23 years ago that I didn't understand why I was given this gift, but I know I am doing what God has called me to do. I love the opportunities I get to work with the many different ministries that our loving church has to offer us!
If you haven't found your place yet within the The Rock MCC ministries, God will take you there! Let God be in control. I love you all.
A scripture I want to share with you. This scripture helped me lift my head through the darkest of storms and I hope it does for you. This was David asking God to remember him:
Psalms 70 1- 5
1 Please, God, rescue me!
Come quickly, Lord, and help me.
2 May those who try to kill me
be humiliated and put to shame.
May those who take delight in my trouble
be turned back in disgrace.
3 Let them be horrified by their shame,
for they said, “Aha! We’ve got him now!”
4 But may all who search for you
be filled with joy and gladness in you.
May those who love your salvation
repeatedly shout, “God is great!”
5 But as for me, I am poor and needy;
please hurry to my aid, O God.
You are my helper and my savior;
O Lord, do not delay.
